got to keep blogging

Mm I'm pretty lazy at this I post a blog and then take a break for 6 months, not that that much has been happening. In the last couple of months I've started writing reviews again for Digital Life magazine and their website, www.mydigitallife.co.za. I must say it has been fun again to get back into it. So i think ive rediscovered the Doors just with out Jim, so basically no voice but who needs a voice when you play music this good wow. Ibrahim Electric is one of the coolest bands ive heard in ages

Im back

Its been nearly a year since i first started this blog and wrote one post, pretty bad i know, well im back, new job and ready to take on the world. A lot has happened since my last post. I left prezence SA and have joined Telkom Media. I am the brand manager for music now and am responsible for setting our new music portal which will include downloads, blogs, news, band site etc. I am really excited about this new venture.

We re hoping to launch later this year, I am hoping to create a portal that all music lovers will want to visit. I am encouraging bloggers on here to join me an share in building a really cool music portal

Im Julian, entertainment is my life and has been for nearly 20 years now, I want to now start to share that knowledge with who ever wants to know. Im also looking to help young artists develop and give them info on what to do and how to go about it. Lets hope I can start giving back a little now.
Just for your info so you know im not an idiot (or maybe i am LOL). I have written and recorded on over 20 albums and have had 5 number 1 hits. I helped to launch several artists such as Amersham, Art from Just Jinjer and others. I have appeared on MNET on Office Idols as a judge. Helped to setup entertainmentafrica.com and I also work for Prezence SA who are the digital agency for all the major record labels in SA. I also work on the SA Music Awards and was SA's only journo to attend this years EMA's in Copenhagen.

There you go, so I will be posting news about the industry, what I hear, feel and do.
